Mac "Brave" Lipstick *Review*
It’s time that I admit something to you all... I am now a
lipstickholic. The last few weeks I have brought so many new lipsticks as well
as lip products that it’s frightening! But what’s more alarming is that I’m
going London soon and Mac is giving the university students 35% off for the
day! Might as well increase my overdraft already.
With that being said, I’m writing this blog post about my
new addition to my Mac lipstick collection. Say hello to ‘Brave’. I’d been eying up this bad boy for quite some time and
when I found out I had to do a 60s inspired make-up look at uni then it was
only right to finally buy this lipstick. I mean it would have been wrong of me
not to have brought it when I needed it to create my 60s look (so I kept
telling myself).
However, I am so happy I did buy it. It’s such a unique
lipstick in my eyes because it looks different on everyone. Sometime it can
look more brownish depending on your skin tone or even lilac again depending on
your skin tone. It’s a satin lipstick which means it’s not matte and you won’t
need to worry about it getting patchy and dry. It’s such a versatile lipstick
which I believe any lipstick lover should have in their lipstick collection; especially
if you’re not into bold, statement lips.
This lipstick can easily been worn in daytime with just a
simple cat eye flick or go full out with a smoky eye, false lashes for a night
out. Told you this lipstick’s versatile!
What do you lipstick lovers think? You ever tried ‘Brave’? Let me know
what other lipsticks you think I should try!

October Skin Care Favourites!
After looking back at all the posts I’ve posted in the past,
I’ve realised that I’ve never posted anything like a monthly favourites or skin
care favourites. The reason why I haven’t is because I’ve always done a monthly
favourites on my Youtube channel but I’ve decided that every month, I’m going
to pick 3 products which I’ve spoke about in my monthly favourites and do an in-depth review about them on my blog!
Starting now! So if you’d like to see more of this kind of blog post them make
sure you leave a comment, letting me know.
The three products which I will be expressing my love for last
month (October) are all skin care products. I said in my October favourites
video on my channel that October was all about me trying to get better skin
which meant trying new skin care products from cleansers, toners, face masks
and even make-up removal products. As well as trying new products to help reduce
my blemishes and redness I also made sure I’ve bee
n eating a lot more fruit/veg
by drinking smoothies!
Super Facialist by
Una Brennan (Neroli Firming Daily Brightening Cleanser)
I know, a bit of a mouthful to say, but so worth it. This
cleanser is perfect for people who have sensitive skin (like me) because it
gently removes make-up without you having to scrub your face vigorously. For me
this product have been perfect as it’s really brightened up my face (because
the weather is dull doesn’t mean your face has to as well). It’s also combined
with Hyaluronic Acid which is known for hydrating the skin. Can easily be
brought from Boots for £8 or if you’re lucky then try TKMax because I managed
to buy mine for £4!
Soap & Glory (No
Clogs Allowed Face Mask)
Easily one of the best face masks I’ve tried in a long time.
Like I said in my October Favourites video, it’s a self heating, deep pore,
detox mask which helps unclog your pours and helps remove excess dirt and oil.
I’ve never normally been a fan of face masks which self heat because I always
find them uncomfortable on my face because they seem to just get hotter and
hotter. However, this face mask it gets to a certain warm temperature and just
stays at that warmth. After washing the face mask off your face is left feeling
smooth and clean (what more can you want from a face mask?).
Clinique Anti-blemish
Solutions (Clarifying lotion)
I might have mentioned about this toner in one of my older
videos but last month I went to John Lewis and decided to repurchase this toner
on the Clinique counter for £18. I remember when I started getting into skin
care and realising that high quality toners weren’t as cheap as I would have
liked but now I’ve come to the conclusion that when it comes to skin care
sometimes you just have to spend a little bit more if you want better skin. I
mean it is your skin after all and we really should look after it. So this
toner isn’t cheap. However, it does work!
Don't forget to leave a comment telling me what you guys think!! Also it would be amazing if you could give it a share and maybe a follow!

Halloween 2014!
I’ll start by saying I hope you all had a great Halloween this
year! This year for me was the first time I actually decided to make an effort.
So of course I decided to go with one of the gayest costumes you could go out
as which was a bunny rabbit! But since it was Halloween it wasn’t acceptable to
just go as a seductive bunny so it wasn’t long before I decided a zombie bunny
would work.
So after looking online for some bunny ears and a tail I came
across a great deal which was for the ears, tail and a bow tie for £4. After
seeing that I get a bow tie with the ears and tail I was sold; let alone how
cheap it was.
The next thing I needed was a dark red make-up product for
under the eye (since I had to make the costume a bit scarier and not utterly sexy).
My friend recommended Mac Cranberry eye shadow but after looking at it, it wasn’t
the right colour. I then started talking to one of the Mac girls (happened to
be one of the nicest beauty counter girls I’ve spoke to) and she showed me a
blusher called ‘Fever’ and it was exactly what I was looking for!
I got some cheap black jeans from Primark and did a bit of
DIY by cutting them (weren’t short enough so rolled them up as well) and
getting a white shirt from Topman in the sale for £8 pounds and made some rips
to show of some more flesh ;))
What did you guys go as for Halloween? Leave a comment and
let me know; also don’t forget to follow my blog which you can do in the top
right corner and maybe give it a share :D
