Sleek Contouring And Blush Palette (Light 373) *Review*

The amount of times I've told my friends 'you need this palette in your life!' pretty much sums up how much I freaking love it! It's just an amazing three in one product, with the contour, highlighter and blusher all in one palette! I mean where else are you going to find a rich, pigmented palette which is high quality but still kept at a low price (Superdrug £8.99)? Well, let me tell you...you won't!

Out of all three, I have to say the highlighter is to die for just on it's own, I mean who doesn't want to have a shimmery glow? With the gold undertones, just one sweep across the top of your cheekbones and a tiny dab on your cupid-bow, you'll be strutting your stuff down the high-street looking like you've just came back from somewhere hot and exotic :3

And let me just say if you loved the NARS Orgasm blusher then the rose gold blusher in this Sleek palette is in my eyes the exact same! I could literally go on and on about this palette but I think you should just go and find out for yourselves and I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do :D

La Roche-Posay - Effaclar A.I *Review*

So before I even explain what a life saver this little product is, let me just say bloody hell the name is such a pain to say (aha)! But seriously this skin care product is amazing! Even though it comes in a tiny packaging, a little really does go a long way. All you need is a tiny dot on your ring finger and dab it over any redness you have and just watch the transformation happen in just a few days!

For me this product has been a life saver, honestly my skin has improved so much and I can finally say goodbye to the yucky, ugly red spots that were taking over my face!

The Best Powder Foundation (High street)

Ok, so I've been wearing make up for the best part of three years. In that time I've tried a lot of different high street brands such as Rimmel, Gosh and Max-factor who sell powder foundation and I have to say I found my favourite powder foundation in the most shocking shop (which I'd never think to buy make up from) and that's The Body Shop!

I've never thought to try Body Shop make up before but have to say I'm so glad I did :3

There's so many reasons why I love The Body Shop all-in-one face base powder foundation. One of the reasons is because of the sleek, silver, compact packaging which makes it perfect to carry around when you're shopping and you need a little touch up or you've had a hard day at work and you've gotten a little oily. Another reason why I think this powder foundation is amazing, is because it never ends!! Well of course it does end but it literally lasts me 4/5 months and I use it every single day all over my face and then in the middle of the day on my T-zone and chin just so I can carry on looking fresh ;)

This powder foundation is perfect if you're in a rush and you just want some coverage. Easy to apply and doesn't get cakey! Talk about a win, win situation?!

Just try it, trust me you won't look back :D

Drugstore Make-up Over High Class Make-up

So, before I even start explaining what this blog post is about I just wanted to say BITCHES it's my first blog post! Wooop! So with that over and done, on to the point of this whole post.

I've always wondered why people pay so much money for High retail make-up such as Mac, Clinique, Benifit and so many more! I mean don't get me wrong I love these brands but personally I just can't justify spending £30 pounds maybe more on foundation when I can go to Superdrug or Boots and pay around £11 pounds and get a really good foundation which works with my skin for half the price.  It's just logic for me to go for the cheaper one!

I mean for me I'm a student so when spending money I'm always watching out for deals and what's cheap but still good quality and I think drugstore make up does the job :)) I'm not saying upper end make-up is just a waste of money because it's not! The quality is amazing and most of the time you get a much larger range of choices when it comes to colours etc. I just disagree with people who won't use drugstore make-up because they don't think it can match the upper class brands - fair enough people have tried both drugstore and higher end brands and just think they'd rather pay more money for a foundation that matches their skin down to a T and after looking at drugstore make-up can't find anything they're happy with that's a whole different story. I just think some people really need to give drugstore make-up a chance and realise just because it's cheaper doesn't mean it's going to be bad quality.
