Spring/Summer 2014 Trends - Wear Some Words!

After checking out SS2014 trends I have only found one which I'm extremely excited about which is all about typographic slogans, text. Of course theres other trends which I'm excited about but most of the trends this year just seem to be repeating themselves from last year SS.
We got to see a little bit of typographic prints last SS but I have a feeling this Spring/Summer it's going to be more popular and they'll be more interesting designs.

"Wear your thoughts on your sleeve," says
Vogue contributing editor Calgary Avansino. "Not since the logo-laden Eighties have we seen so much typography."

If Vogue even says they haven't seen this much typography since the Eighties, well what more proof do fashion lovers need to know this trend is going to be big?! Personally I'm excited to be able to express my mood using words rather than using colours and patterns for a change.

With so many designers jumping on this trend; Louis Vuitton, DKNY, Jeremy Scott and Christian Dior etc. Will you jump on this typographic trend this Spring/Summer? Because I know I am!

Well Dressed Blusher By Mac *Review*

So, I'm 19 and I have to say I only started using Mac products maybe 4 months ago! I mean what was I even doing with my life? It's like a crime for someone to be into make-up so much but hasn’t even used one of the most well known and well loved make-up brands out there until they’re 19! I kind of feel ashamed to even admit that to be honest (aha!).

But on to the point of this post. As most of you know, they're are so many different shades of blushes out there from all different make-up brands, so you might be asking yourself why this one? Well let me just say this...this blusher has to be my favourite blusher I have ever used! One of the reasons why I love 'Well Dressed' by Mac so much is because it's just perfect when it comes to colour and pigments. I love the fact it's not to shimmery or matte. But the number one reason why I just adore this blusher is because it's such a pretty colour and for this Spring/Summer it’s perfect! I like the fact that you have to build it up on to your cheeks which gives you a lot of play. You can have just a dab of colour or you can go crazy and slap it on. It's completely up to you. Personally I love how subtle this blusher is and I don't have to be scared to give my brush a real good swirl and worry if the pay off is going to be too harsh.

What do you guys think of the blusher? Have you ever tried it?

Olay Beauty Fluid Moisturiser *review*

Anyone who loves skin care products has probably already heard of this product before. It's been on the high street in Boots for years and years. The only reason why I heard about this moisturiser is because I was having really dry skin and then my boyfriend gave me this to try and ever since whenever I get dry skin I seem to always reach for this product.

One of the reasons why I love this product so much is because it's simple and nothing fancy, it just gets the job done, it's so nice to see a product that just does what it's suppose to but it's a shame so many people have never heard or even tried it.

If you're not into any fancy moisturiser and can barley understand the writing on the packaging or it just simply, confuses you, then this product is defiantly for you, without a doubt! One more thing I will say about this moisturiser is if you're not a big fan of aroma near your face then, guess what?! Try this!

Try this product and comment you're response, I'd love to find out what you all think about it :))

In Love With Designer Etro SS2014 Collection!

Okay, so it's very rare for me to be mouth watering over just one collection, let along actually liking 100% of the collection! Before I even go into detail saying why Etro's SS2014 collection is just purely beautiful if you haven't checked out the collection, and you love old fashion, vintage patterns/prints then you're missing out...big time!

There's so many reasons why I just completely adore this collection but the fact that this has such a cute back story of how Veronica was inspired to create this spectacular collection just puts the 'icing on the cake'.

"Veronica Etro's English grandmother, Audrey, used to bind her books in the beautiful fabrics that draped the Etro family's life. In each volume, she'd write the time and place she read the book. That's how we know the prints Veronica lifted from her Gran's library for her show today were from the 1940s."

Etro Spring 2014 Ready-to-Wear

I think it's so cute how she got her inspiration from her Gran, it just conveys how much time she put in thinking about this collection and the theme. It's such a breath of fresh air to see a designer show a bit of heart and make their collection personal. We should feel privileged that Etro decided to share it with the rest of the fashion world and I cannot wait to see what's next for this designer!

Sleek Contouring And Blush Palette (Light 373) *Review*

The amount of times I've told my friends 'you need this palette in your life!' pretty much sums up how much I freaking love it! It's just an amazing three in one product, with the contour, highlighter and blusher all in one palette! I mean where else are you going to find a rich, pigmented palette which is high quality but still kept at a low price (Superdrug £8.99)? Well, let me tell you...you won't!

Out of all three, I have to say the highlighter is to die for just on it's own, I mean who doesn't want to have a shimmery glow? With the gold undertones, just one sweep across the top of your cheekbones and a tiny dab on your cupid-bow, you'll be strutting your stuff down the high-street looking like you've just came back from somewhere hot and exotic :3

And let me just say if you loved the NARS Orgasm blusher then the rose gold blusher in this Sleek palette is in my eyes the exact same! I could literally go on and on about this palette but I think you should just go and find out for yourselves and I'm sure you'll love it just as much as I do :D

La Roche-Posay - Effaclar A.I *Review*

So before I even explain what a life saver this little product is, let me just say bloody hell the name is such a pain to say (aha)! But seriously this skin care product is amazing! Even though it comes in a tiny packaging, a little really does go a long way. All you need is a tiny dot on your ring finger and dab it over any redness you have and just watch the transformation happen in just a few days!

For me this product has been a life saver, honestly my skin has improved so much and I can finally say goodbye to the yucky, ugly red spots that were taking over my face!

The Best Powder Foundation (High street)

Ok, so I've been wearing make up for the best part of three years. In that time I've tried a lot of different high street brands such as Rimmel, Gosh and Max-factor who sell powder foundation and I have to say I found my favourite powder foundation in the most shocking shop (which I'd never think to buy make up from) and that's The Body Shop!

I've never thought to try Body Shop make up before but have to say I'm so glad I did :3

There's so many reasons why I love The Body Shop all-in-one face base powder foundation. One of the reasons is because of the sleek, silver, compact packaging which makes it perfect to carry around when you're shopping and you need a little touch up or you've had a hard day at work and you've gotten a little oily. Another reason why I think this powder foundation is amazing, is because it never ends!! Well of course it does end but it literally lasts me 4/5 months and I use it every single day all over my face and then in the middle of the day on my T-zone and chin just so I can carry on looking fresh ;)

This powder foundation is perfect if you're in a rush and you just want some coverage. Easy to apply and doesn't get cakey! Talk about a win, win situation?!

Just try it, trust me you won't look back :D
